Cutting-edge design and creativity can be applied to even the smallest of kitchens. In this example, measuring a mere 9 x 12, we used flush overlay doors in mixed finishes, a hutch with a metal door and diffused glass, textured countertop, hanging rail for accessories, a wall-hung metal bookcase, and pendants over the peninsula. A vibrant color scheme was chosen to brighten the windowless space. The only splurge was the penninsula's Mockett pop-up power grommet. Total cost, reusing the client's appliances was < $20K U.S.
